Where we start: the industrial reality, not the technology
Too many immersive projects stop after the demo. The headset impresses in the meeting room, then goes back in its box. The operator gains nothing at their workstation.
Myxed works the other way round. We start from a precise industrial task: an inspection that lets defects through, a rare gesture that is hard to pass on, an expert who travels out for every incident. Then we choose the layer of reality that answers that use case, and nothing more.
Our job is to turn a technology into a tool that field teams adopt. A tool that serves the operator, lasts over time and fits the existing information system.
What Myxed does
Myxed builds custom mixed, augmented and virtual reality applications for four families of use cases:
- Hands-free guided quality control: compare parts against tolerances, inspect step by step, trace results. See hands-free guided quality control in mixed reality.
- Operator training: rehearse a rare or hazardous gesture in a scene that reproduces the workstation. See virtual reality training for industry.
- Spatial Digital Twin: place the 3D model on the real site, read machine status in context.
- Remote expertise: annotate the machine from a distance, guide an intervention, cut travel. See remote maintenance and remote expertise.
We stay agnostic on the headset, the 3D engine and the platform. Each building block is chosen for the use case, then integrated into your environment. See also augmented reality applications for industry and the overview of mixed reality use cases for industry.

Who we work with
Myxed supports industrial groups and mid-sized companies in aerospace, energy, manufacturing, luxury goods and retail.
Our contacts are plant managers, training managers, maintenance managers, quality managers, R&D project leads and information system teams. Each with their own metrics: scrap rate, time to competency, MTBF, compliance, design lead time.
Our method: frame, prototype, build, deploy
Frame. We analyse the use case with your teams: the task, the constraints, the metric to improve.
Prototype. We build a first testable version on a real case.
Build. We develop the application, integrate it with the information system and set security with IT.
Deploy. We train the field teams, follow the first weeks of use and adjust from feedback.

Frequently asked questions
No. Myxed designs and develops applications. The headset is chosen for the use case, from models available on the market, then integrated into the project.
Mixed reality, augmented reality and virtual reality. The choice depends on the task: overlay information on a real machine, or place the operator in a fully simulated environment.
Yes. The demo is only one step. Myxed frames the use case, develops the application, integrates it with the information system and supports the rollout on the shop floor.
At 23 rue Gensan, 33000 Bordeaux. Projects run on site at our clients, across France and Europe, and remotely.
